PAST TO PRESENT- JBS PACKING, INC.
Founded by Jack and Brad Hemmenway in Port Arthur, Texas, where it is still operating today. The JBS mission was and is still to source, process, package, and distribute the highest quality of wild caught shrimp possible. Much of the shrimp processed by JBS Packing, Inc. is unloaded directly from the trawlers at its waterfront facility in Port Arthur.Many of the vessels are company owned or contracted by the company. The plant, being situated on the Louisiana-Texas border, makes the raw shrimp readily available from Louisiana, as well as Texas.
